Letter for Change

I was inspired to look for some non-profit work I can do this summer. I found one and sent them this introductory letter:

The only way to change the world is to be the change you want to see.

I want to help people change the world. I want to change the world. I believe that offering my many talents and thoughts as well as helping guide others who also seek to offer their talents and thoughts will change the world.

Every day, we each have a choice to feel good or to not feel good about ourselves, our community, and our world. The actions we choose to follow are based on our love or on our fear. I choose love.

I want everyone to live in a world of peace, love, community, communication, reverence, and opportunity. As we each seek to become the beautiful people that we all are, we expand the universe and create the world in our own image.

I am seeking to become a member of this community and help create awareness, change, self-improvement, and a community to share on this earth.

What do you think? I think it is spoken from a deeper part of me that wants to change the world for the better.

I got a call back this afternoon and will be visiting them tomorrow. Yay! :)
